So It Turns Out...

It is 11:00 p.m. on June 6, 2011, and I moved today.

“So what?” right? People move all of the time.

Well, like other people that move, I am physically and emotionally spent. But wait. There’s more.

My husband and I decided, for a variety of reasons, to pull an “Everyone Loves Raymond” and move across the yard from my parents. However, we pulled an extreme-Ramano move and took it one step further. We not only moved in today right next to my parents, but into a home that has been in the family for four generations and in which I lived from the time I was 13 until I graduated high school. At that point, I got the hell out of “the middle of nowhere” as fast as I could … until I moved back again for my last two years of college.

The last time I moved back to this house was 20 years ago. I moved out 18 years ago. I moved back today.

I have a theory that Apple products are are made of compressed cocaine, hence the mindless addiction of many of its users have to its products. There must be something similar in the air in this place, because I never saw this coming. Yet, …

I moved today. And I am physically and emotionally spent. I might be crazy too. Who knows. I am so tired I can hardly think.

Turns out, you can go home again. The question is, should you?
